Mountain Green Middle School Community Council
Parent/Guardian Representation

Notice is hereby given of the forthcoming nomination and election for parent/guardian representation on the Mountain Green Middle School School Community Council. Seats are open for four (4) council members who shall each serve a two-year term. Term of office shall run from September 26, 2022 through September 25, 2024. Interested parents/guardians must have a student attending Mountain Green Middle School at some time during the term of office. School council meetings will be held monthly unless otherwise determined by the majority vote of the council. Meetings are generally held at 2:45 pm on the third Monday of each month.

Any parent or guardian who meets the qualifications may become a candidate by filling out an application form. Application forms are available on the MGMS website or at the Mountain Green Middle main office. Applications must be received before 1:00 pm on Friday, September 9 2022. Voting will take place via email poll sent out September 12th – 14th Parents/guardians of students currently attending Mountain Green Middle School may vote during the election. Candidates will be notified of results September 15th.

We have implemented new bus routing software.  Transportation information will no longer be updated in Aspire.  The new program may be accessed by downloading the “Traversa Ride 360” from the Google Play or Apple App Store or by using the icon at the bottom of the page.  The OnTimeBus app will still show bus GPS location.
